The GVLA Association was incorporated under the Florida Not-For-Profit Act to provide an entity for the maintenance management and control of 231 properties in Tara Preserve in Manatee County. The purpose is to administer association members landscaping and irrigation requirements. The goal is to maintain member properties to enhance neighborhood consistency and value for the owners.

The powers granted to the board of directors are to: maintain the association budget and fiscal control, conducting of member board meetings, contracting with service providers for management and maintenance, and levy association assessments to each of the 231 doors.

The GVLA is a maintenance free association (however not “owner responsibility free”). Under the Declaration of Landscape Restrictions for Tara Golf Villas, each lot owner shall maintain, repair and replace all improvements located upon the owner’s lot. Members are required to follow irrigation watering guidelines (whether full-time, part-time or renter residents).

The Association board consists of volunteer members from our owners. Volunteers are always welcome to join the board or to join a “special committee” to assist the board.
